Clara Hayes

Clara Hayes writes cozy mysteries set in quiet small towns—like Maplewood, where everyday routines conceal subtle inconsistencies and unspoken tensions.

Her stories focus on atmosphere, careful observation, and the subtle moments where ordinary life begins to shift. Rather than relying on dramatic twists, they unfold through small details, quiet contradictions, and gradually emerging connections.

With a focus on character-driven storytelling, Clara creates mysteries that reward attention and invite readers to notice what others might overlook.
